Deadline for submissions / time they can work on their projects
Devpost Submission deadline: Oct 6th @ 11:30 AM PST. To be eligible for judging (and to win prizes), your project must be submitted by this time. However, you can continue to refine your Devpost submission and code your project until 12:00 PM—this is the final cut-off. Submissions are required to secure a spot in the demo expo and be considered for prizes
Dates
The event is taking place on October 5-6th, 2024. The venue is the Student Union Building on SFU's Burnaby campus. StormHacks 2024 will be completely in-person, there will be no virtual participation this year.

To be eligible to participate, please ensure you have completed the RSVP form sent in your email.
Project and Submission Requirements
- You MUST submit a github link
- To showcase your project you will do a live to judges during judging period

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
We are keeping the criteria a mystery, the winner selection will take place on Sunday October 6th between 1:00-2:30pm.
How many people per team?
1-4 hackers
Can hackers crosspost to other hackathons on the same weekend?
No. Project will be disqualified.
Do hackers have to submit code?
If your hack has code, your team needs to submit a GitHub repo
Can hackers use publicly available frameworks?
Yes
Can they make multiple projects?
